About Canadian passport stamping in India
After IRCC approves a Canadian visitor visa, study permit, work permit or PR, it sends a passport request, and applicants hand their passports in at one of ten VFS Global centres in India. Every couriered passport we see, from any of the ten, leaves from VFS's operations in New Delhi, so the wait moves in similar batches across the country, with each centre a few days ahead or behind.
